Dr. Margaret Chemengich has over 40 years’ experience working in public policy analysis, formulation and implementation of strategies and programmes for both the public and private sector in the East Africa region. In her 27 years in the civil service, Margaret championed and provided guidance and technical expertise in matters of Human Resource management, building data bases for personnel management and sector data base to guide development, regional integration, trade negotiation at regional and global levels. She served in variousin public sector positions in Kenya Government including as the Permanent at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism, the Ministry of Planning and Finance, and Director of Statistics at the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS)
