The  iris recognition camera  system does  not   require   significant   cooperation   from   the   subject   to capture high quality iris images. Iris ID has developed a series of algorithms which provide the capability to capture iris images in virtually any environment.

OU7S-AK

The OU7S-AK performs high-speed dual iris capture and outputs high quality ISO standards compliant images. Both eyes can be simultaneously captured. The OU7S-AK provides an unparalleled intuitive user interface, which makes the process easier for the user and operator. The OU7S-AK is also equipped with an orientation sensor and left and right iris capture management controls which can be selected prior to or during the process.

ICU7000-2

The ICU 7000-2 is an optional component used when the client requires iris template data to be matched on the secure side of the door. When using ICU no data is stored in the iCAM7 Iris Reader itself. The ICU also ensures that portal operation can continue if the re is an interruption in communication with the host computer. In such circumstances, the ICU retains the records of portal activity, then automatically updates the host upon resumption of host communication. Every ICU in the iCAM4000 / 7 series runs on a LINUX OS for added reliability. Independent and fault tolerant, ICUs are connected up to 2 iCAMs and handle up to 100,000 users.
